Aodhan Sjuve is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Tully, NY who attends Fabius Pompey. Large, sturdy frame with broad shoulders and well-proportioned strength present. Primary left-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the third base side of the rubber. Lifts the leg just above the belt before breaking the hands at the chest. Separates into a shorter arm path and sidearm release. Fastball showed gradual arm-side run, living on the outer-half of the strike zone while peaking at 78 mph. Breaking ball showed 11-5 movement with some side-spinning traits. Also mixed in a low-60s changeup that killed tons of spin. Located his mix fairly well and pitched to contact with it. Secondary first baseman, showcased a natural feel for the position. Has softness in the hands with impressive adjustability and accuracy across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 76 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a simple hover trigger for timing before working into a flatter bat path. Has present strength in the hands with a developing feel for the barrel. Gets extended through the zone and a bit rotational at times. Can create carry to the pull-side gap and do damage to inside pitches. Recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph. Ran a 4.36 thirty-yard dash. Good student.
