Matiss Tyree is a 2027 RHP/1B/IF with a 6-2 147 lb. frame from Kalamazoo, MI who attends Kalamazoo Christian High School. Tall and slender frame. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with two pitches out of a standard three-quarter slot, developing ability to get the levers in sync and find a consistent release point, fastball in the low 70's with some arm side sink and a developing breaking ball. Developing actions and footwork in the infield, some glove action with a funnel up the middle, developing range, average arm strength. Hit from a wide base with load stride timing, developing strength and bat speed, cut off swings with developing ability to get connected to backside rotation. Pull side approach with some feel for the barrel.
