Hayden Scipione is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Carroll. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and average build. Ran a 7.25 second sixty. Works to the ball in the outfield with intent carrying the momentum and getting the ball out with game-like actions showing developing arm strength. Works from the middle of the rubber on the mound with a small rocker step with a leg lift to the belt. Full arm circle through the back to a mid three-quarters arm slot. Shorter stride down the mound staying taller on the back side with the fastball sitting in the mid 70’s. Looked comfortable with the changeup turning over the changeup with fade and landed the curveball in the low 60’s with depth. Left handed hitter starts with an open base. Gets on plane early with a smoother bat path through the hitting zone. Showed good barrel control with developing bat speed using the pull side at his best. Good student.
