Maxwell Stewart is a 2027 1B/C/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Taller, strong athletic frame. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash. Versatile defender that worked out in the outfield, first base and at catcher. Some speed, with footwork and pace in the outfield to go with a solid average throwing arm. Solid glove actions with some ability to move with feel around the bag at first base. Developing fundamentals, catch and pop, and a long arm action with developing arm strength and accuracy from behind the plate. Physical right-handed hitter, hit from a wide base with real intent to the swing, creates some leverage out front, flashes gap to gap pop with feel for getting to the barrel. Really good swing on a long home run to the pull side gap in game. Named to National All-State Select top prospect list. Excellent student.
