Elias Burstein is a 2024 OF/3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Gunderson. Features a lean build with room to add. Ran an 8.08 60-yard. Showcased fair actions throughout outfield drills. Moves well side to side. Charging the ball with more urgency would allow for a smoother transition into throws. Uses a short arm action to produce accurate throws. Utilizes a narrow base with a slightly open stance in the box. Uses a high leg kick timing mechanism with the ability to stay balanced throughout the swing. Has the ability to go the other way, Sequencing the lower half more efficiently would help produce louder contact on a more regular basis. Has plenty of room to add more strength to help boost power profile. Very good student, as well.
