Sebastian Edwards is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Lincoln, CA who attends Lincoln. Big and strong athletic build, stands out physically on the mound. Works out of the stretch with a high leg lift start and some upper body lean back over the rubber, long arm action in back, creates some leverage to home plate, 3/4's arm slot out front. Mid-80's fastball topped out at 87 mph, gets good running life at times from that arm slot. Soft sweeping slider showed good depth when he got out in front with it and developed as a solid pitch for him as his outing progressed. Good student, verbal commitment to Sacramento State. Named to the West Coast Top Prospect Games, Top Prospect List.
