Gabriel Ramirez is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Walnut Creek, CA who attends De La Salle. Medium frame, young and soft with space to firm up. As an outfielder stayed behind the ball and loaded up the compact arm with the high back elbow for accurate throws to bags. Offensively it's a wider stance with a big front leg kick as hands stay at the back shoulder. Direct hands sprayed balls to right and center field. Pitched with hands staying wide away from the chest on a high front knee lift after the simple sidestep delivery. Gets an early lean down the hill while staying tall and having a 3/4 release with a high back elbow. The fastball (71 MPH) had sink and set up a lateral spinning slider.
