Tanner Hardin is a 2024 SS/RHP/C with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Union, SC who attends Union. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, has a nice fundamentals swing with very good timing and flow into his swing, accurate barrel that he gets out into the hitting zone well, can turn the barrel over all ready, clean swing that is going to keep improving as he adds strength. 7.50 runner, moves well in the infield and is light on his feet with athletic actions, circles the ball well and uses his feet to get into position to field the ball, arm strength across the diamond still developing. Also took a turn on the mound, high leg raise delivery, drops to a compact low 3/4's arm slot, repeated his mechanics well and threw strikes. Fastball topped out at 72 mph and was consistently low in the zone with good sinking life, still developing feel for his curveball. Bat is his best present tool. Excellent student.
