Danny Scudero is a 2023 OF/2B with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from San Jose, CA who attends Archbishop Mitty. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Strong runner, posted a 6.63 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, waits back on the ball, takes short steps once underway, fields the ball out front and works into a shorter arm action through the back, arm strength and accuracy will continue to develop on throws. Right-handed hitter, begins with a balanced and open stance with a lower hand set in the box. Shows quick hands, stays direct to the ball, utilizes a toe tap trigger moving into stride for timing. Simple mechanics, occasionally gets downward with path but shows a handle for the barrel, works to all fields with some strength off the barrel and back spun contact when squared. Very good student. Named to NorCal Workout Top Prospect List.
