Michael Del is a 2024 MIF with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Rochelle Park, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic. Young, square shouldered frame with some present strength to frame and additional room to fill and develop moving forward. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, deliberate tempo and short steps to the ball, fields the ball out front with two hands, some bend at waist, tall release and can continue to incorporate additional lower half, full arm action with a higher release on throws. Shorter arm stroke on throws in the infield, fields the ball out front, extra step through release, young footwork, shows accuracy across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with a bent knee stance and utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Hands start tight to body, does a nice job of staying direct to the ball with some extension through point of contact. Creates present bat speed, shows a handle for the barrel, creates line drive contact to his pull side. Good student.
