Kevari Thunderbird is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Kenwood Academy. Lean athletic build, looks taller than listed. Very long arm action in back, whippy and loose coming through from a low 3/4's arm slot, simple and well paced step by step delivery. Fastball worked in the upper 80's with consistent arm side life and plenty of angle to the plate, also cuts his fastball with intent at times with some lateral shape and late tightness. Firm change up replicates the fastball well with similar life and arm speed. Threw a big breaking curveball at 77-78 mph to give the hitters another look and pitch shape. Threw strikes with all his offerings and had an idea what he was doing. Doesn't look like a very enjoyable at-bat for either left handed or right handed batters. Signed with John Logan College.
