Lane Brewster is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Creek. Medium frame with a slender build and room to fill out. Ran a 6.46 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Gets to the ball with athletic movements and maintains momentum throughout. Quick exchanges into a fast release. Creates carry out of the hand and to the bag topping out at 83 MPH. Lefthanded hitter with a narrow stance and toe tap trigger for timing. Linear shifts into contact with drive off the backside. Solid and consistent contact with good timing throughout round. Able to work line drives to all fields. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a side step delivery into a leg lift above the belt. Lands in line down the mound. Average arm action in the back into a three-quarter arm slot. Creates solid angle on the fastball at 78 MPH. Worked in a 1-to-7 curveball with depth to the pitch. Good student as well. Named to the 2019 South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
