Blake Bridges is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Nixa, MO who attends Nixa. Strong build with long limbs, present athleticism and room to fill out. Ran a 6.79 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Displayed aggressive actions with smooth footwork while working to and through the baseball in the outfield. Flashed clean glove actions creating good momentum into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry to the bases topping out at 88 mph from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs a narrow, slightly open stance with a big leg lift trigger throwing off timing at times. Displayed a high intent approach looking to drive the ball to and through the gaps in the outfield. Showed the ability to work the barrel out front with good bat speed and barrel control creating loud contact to the pull side when on time and squared. Also pitched at the event. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with the plate and staying online with the plate. Displayed a quick arm action in the back going to a cross body release at a three-quarter slot creating some deception to the hitters. Showed a fastball with late movement and heavy life through the zone up to 82 mph complemented with a 10/4 breaking ball thrown for consistent strikes up to 65 mph. Great student.
