2023 Sophomore National Showcase (2026 Grads)
Ryan Harris is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Long Grove, IL who attends Adlai E Stevenson. Very athletic build with good present strength and room for plenty more. 7.12 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works through the ball well and has good idea on his footwork and transition, outstanding raw arm strength, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, has a loose tension free swing that produces good leverage, lags the barrel well, impacts the ball hard, has a good idea of his swing, lots of future power potential. Took a turn on the mound, high leg raise delivery with a short stride down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot, can use his lower half more. Fastball worked mostly in the mid-80's, topped out at 88 when reaching back. Threw four pitches and had some feel for each of them, has a feel for sequencing. Two-way prospect with the chance for some big tools. Good student.
