LAS PIEDRAS, P.R. -- The second annual San Juan Classic has kicked off in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, with 60 teams spread across four age divisions in town to compete for a championship and gain scouting attention from Oct. 20-23.

There is a collection of well-known talent in attendance at the event - seven top-500 prospects in the 2023 class, notably - and the Perfect Game International scouting staff is excited for the opportunity to discover more talent on the island this weekend, much like last year's first iteration of the event.

Four games will be played on Thursday, two in the 18u division and a pair more in the 14u. Pool play really kicks off in full on Friday and runs through Saturday, with semifinal and championship matchups taking place on Sunday morning.

As part of the events this weekend in Las Piedras, Perfect Game International held the Puerto Rico Workout Showcase on Wednesday, with many prospects posting eye-opening numbers.
