15u World Series Scout Notes: Day 1





Having a productive day with the stick and doing a nice job behind the plate for FL Dodgers 2025 Scout was Jonathan Bay (2025, Saint Johns, Fla.). The stocky, strong built 5-foot-8, 185-pound backstop has a feel for the game and got results on both the offensive and defensive side of things. He hits from an even, balanced stance and uses a small toe tap for his timing mechanism. There is good turn from his core and the bat stays very flat though to contact. Bay manipulates the barrel very well with his hands the ball gets off his barrel with life and natural loft. Behind the dish he displayed solid lateral mobility, soft hands and an accurate throwing arm with carry. The uncommitted catcher finished the day 1-for-1, scoring 3 runs, collecting a double, a walk and 2 RBI.
