Marshall Louque (2025, Lutcher, La.) got the start in game one for the Louisiana Gators Elite and showcased the same kind of arm talent that put his name on the map as a 14-year-old. He ran his fastball up to 88 mph while living in the mid-80s for most of the outing. He complemented the fastball with a low-70s slider that showed solid bite through the hitting zone. His long, slender build projects well on the mound as does his athleticism and arm speed. He will definitely be a name to monitor over the next few years as a guy with big time potential as he continues to grow and mature.
