Cooper Walker (2026, Largo, Fla.) put together a stellar outing for Canes Florida 14u Clutch. The uncommitted right-handed pitcher threw all five innings of a run-rule game where he worked 71-74 and topped at 75 mph on his fastball that had life to it. He kept hitters off balance by mixing in a high-tilt slider that he gets around on, making it a quality part of his pitch mix. He picked up six strikeouts on the day and was able to miss bats. Walker also worked hesitations into his delivery, aiming to keep hitters off-balance with that as well.

Leo Marrero (2026, Wauchula, Fla.) pieced together some quality swings for Canes Florida 14u Clutch, seeming to always find ways to get on base. The results were not always in his favor. After a sliding grab took away a hit from him, the ability to loft the ball was there. Marrero swings it well from the left side of the plate, including a double that he pulled down the right-field line. He showed excellent bat-to-ball skills, getting the bat out in front and barreling it down the line.
