William Bryant (2022 Charlotte NC) showed real two-way potential in this week’s tournament. As a primary righthanded pitcher he was up to 88 mph on the mound working six plus innings on the mound allowing no runs and striking out eight. When not on the mound he was either playing shortstop or third base and hitting third for his SBA Futures 2022 team. Defensively he is a strong arm projected to play either spot on the left side as he gets the ball across the diamond with plenty of carry. At the plate he showed power from gap to gap, collecting multiple big hits that typically went for extra bases. His barrel gets in the hitting zone early as he does a nice job matching plane of the pitch and creating easy carry on the ball.
