18U World Series Scout Notes: Days 1 & 2 | Day 3

Shawn Scott (2020, Clarksville, TN) threw 5 scoreless innings for Knights Baseball Platinum in their opening playoff game Wednesday. The 6’1” 190-pound University of Tennessee commit lit up the radar gun as his fastball was 89-92 and topped at 94. He showed excellent command of his curveball which he was able to get a ton of swings and misses. The lefty utilized a very athletic delivery and worked the ball down in the zone. He uses a long and loose arm action and coupled with a quirky delivery angle which made the ball very hard for hitters to pick out. He finished the day with 9 strikeouts.
