Carson Martin is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland Christian. Extra-large, long limbed frame with square shoulders and some present strength, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Right-handed pitcher, leg lift up to waist at start of delivery, fuller arm action through the backside working to a higher three-quarters release point. Fastball up to 85 mph in this look and has been 90 in past viewings, still showed nice life to the pitch and able to attack hitters with a full mix. Curveball shows 11-5 shape with depth to it up to 73 mph, spins it with conviction and showed comfort mixing that and the changeup in any count. Sells the changeup well with late fading life and depth up to 76 mph. Mixed consistently and kept hitters off balance at the plate. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Pittsburgh. Named to the Sunshine East Top Prospect List.
