Carlos Ortiz is a 2025 RHP/ with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL. Lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Has a long and off-line arm action leading to a mid 3/4's arm slot, good direction down the mound to release. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running life. Threw a short slider for strikes and showed good feel for the pitch. Also mixed in a rare change up. Solid overall command and competed well.
