Jd Harvey is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Seminary, MS who attends Seminary. Solid build with well proportioned and functional strength. Behind the dish, he shows quality receiving ability that can steal low strikes on occasion. Blocks well with fluid hip to get lateral on spiked breaking ball. Feet work in line on throws down. Good carry out of the hand with high level accuracy in game. Right-handed hitter, wide base and high back elbow. Uses the strong lower half to generate torque that is well connected to the upper half and hands. Solid bat speed/ leverage combo with standout pull side power. Gets to well extended impact frequently. Translated a strong batting practice round into game action success. On the mound, its a compact delivery with belt high lift. Works downhill well with a short arm action that releases from a well extended high three-quarters slot. Commands the fastball to the glove side, forced plenty of weak contact on the heater alone. Breaking ball was used as a late count put away pitch and showed decent depth. 2.00 pop time. 7.56 60-yard. Outstanding student with a well above average ACT. Named to the Top Prospect list.
