Ayden Lockett is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-11 162 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Buford. Features a medium-sized lean build with present athleticism. Ran a 6.47 60-yd dash. In the OF, he showed an aggressive approach where he used a quick first step and really got after the baseball. Fielded it clean and out front without breaking momentum. Used a slight side shuffle regather before using a full/loose arm action to get off higher arcing throws with above avg. strength, present carry, and 50/50 accuracy. In the INF, showed developing actions. Got to his spots but breaks down a bit into reception. Fields it with two hands out front showing avg. glove skill and feel. Used the same full/loose arm action as the OF. At the plate, he sits in a balanced stance with feet just outside his shoulders. He uses a simple forward move with minimal takeback of the hands that keep an upright barrel. His hands fire direct, working short-to-long and showing noticeable adv.quickness and some impact to the pullside. On the mound, he showed a balanced delivery. It's a full/loose arm action out the glove and to a higher 3/4 slot. Lands on-line and with a shorter stride. Works fast and attacks the strike zone with a low 80s FB (T84). Mixed in a changeup he killed spin on (1194 rpm) which created good depth on the offering. Named to the Top Prospects List.
