Desmond White is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Walnut Shade, MO who attends Branson. Medium athletic build with good strength in his hips and lower half. 7.94 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has good hand quickness and fields the ball cleanly, can improve his foot quickness but has good sound fundamental footwork, has a loose arm and gets good carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a leg raise close, exaggerated uphill swing path, barrel is in and out of the zone in a hurry, swings hard, would benefit from a more level swing plane and barrel accuracy. Also took a turn on the mound and has two-way potential. Works from a full delivery and gets his strong hips well turned to drive his delivery, high 3/4's fast arm stroke, some effort on release. Fastball worked up to 83 mph with low spin characteristics, gets big run and sink. Slider was a solid second pitch for him with tight spin and some late sharpness. Very good student. Named to the Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
