Mitchell Bruce is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Moberly, MO who attends Moberly Sr.. Slender and athletic frame on the mound. Primary right-handed pitcher with an above the belt leg lift and a quarter twist at the top, longer stride down the mound and a well connected delivery with a clean three- quarter arm slot and action. Bigger arm speed with the fastball sitting between 83-86 and consistently working effectively up in the zone and to the edges. Flashed feel for the curveball with consistent 11-5 shape. Showed a good straight change-up that he is able to maintain arm speed well on and that got hitters out in front. Right-handed hitter with an even base and slightly closed, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Showed some strength in the rotational swing and was able to drive the to the pull side and pull side gap. Exciting pitcher that projects well and is athletic on the mound. Good student. Named to the 2023 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
