Benjamin Edwards is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Cornelius, NC who attends Hough. Medium, lean build with a lot of time to continue adding strength. 7.26 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open stance with a high back elbow set. Loose, extended swing with natural loft, uses the whole field effectively and showed some power when on time and in rhythm. Good foundational swing with more power coming as he continues to fill out the frame. Primary outfielder, showed athleticism on the charge, one hand gather on the side of the body, long hopped accurate throws to the bag. Carries momentum through throws, continuing to develop arm strength, recorded throws up to 72 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, works from a full windup with high hands throughout the delivery, clean arm stroke to a three-quarters arm slot. Front foot lands slightly closed, causing him to work across the body down the slope. Fastball heavy in the first inning, up to 72 mph (1834 RPM), started mixing a true 12-6 shaped curveball in the second and third innings, up to 58 mph (2118 RPM).
