Gabriel Ciechanover is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Hillsborough, CA who attends The Nueva School. Outstanding young athletic build, present strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, has present bat speed, gets to his front side early but keeps his hands back well and maintains balance, big pull side lift and power, home runs in both BP and in the games, ball really jumps, big projection as a hitter. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder who works through the ball aggressively, carries lots of momentum into his throws, can get out of control at times with his aggressiveness, plenty of carry on his throws. Also pitched, works from the stretch with tall and fall mechanics, can get more out of his lower half, clean arm action with an over the top arm slot that hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 87 mph with big running action and downhill plane at times. Slider showed some tightness and bite. Very good all around athlete with lots of projection remaining. Elite level student. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.
