Eli Irvine is a 2027 OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from San Diego, CA. Features a medium sized athletic build. Ran a 6.66 60-yd dash. In the OF, the athleticism translated into quality actions. Active feet that show some stutter step in the approach but worked through it well creating momentum into throws. Showed a clean out front reception with glove. Arm showed a slight stab out the back and worked up to an over the release. Avg. arm strength for his level (82 mph) that got off uphill throws to the bag that were 4/5 accurate to the bag. At the plate, operated from an even base. Simple leg lift for timing and creates decent separation into launch. More compact type path that worked uphill at times. Noticeable quickness to the hands that supplied some decent bat speed. Was on-barrel the majority of his round producing hard LDs through the middle of the field. Swing translated into games with several hard hit barrels. Named to Top Prospects List.
