Riley Flora is a 2029 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Murfreesboro, TN who attends Central Magnet School. Young build with some compact beginning strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open bent knee spread stance, has some lift in his swing, longer swing path geared for future power, developing bat speed with more strength to come. 7.93 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, comes off the bag well and has some lower half quickness, played with energy, fielded the ball cleanly and made accurate throws. Also worked out in the outfield, played with the same aggressiveness to the ball, fielded with two hands with a quick transfer and release, tends to spin off hard effecting his accuracy. Took a turn on the mound, has a loose and athletic controlled delivery with a 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 73 mph with some running life, also threw a 60 mph curveball, filled up the strike zone with both pitches and was very effective. Excellent student.
