Brody Threet is a 2029 C/RHP/3B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Livingston, TN who attends Livingston Academy. Thick and physical build with plenty of present strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium base, has a well connected swing that projects well, swings hard with good present bat speed, gap to gap contact with some jump off the barrel. 7.22 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has athletic actions out of his crouch and into his throws, short and quick arm action, made accurate throws from an over the top arm slot, athleticism stood out. Also worked out in the infield, arm strength and release was his best assets as a third baseman, not as athletic moving as he was behind the plate. Also pitched, medium leg raise and coil to start his delivery, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some running life, velocity played up with some deception. Curveball had some vertical depth. Excellent student.
