Dante Ang is a 2029 RHP/3B/OF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Beaverton, OR who attends Jesuit. Medium athletic build with very good strength for his age. Primary right handed pitcher who also has potential as a right handed hitting outfielder. Works exclusively from the stretch from the first base side, has an in-line delivery with an over the top arm slot, good pace to his delivery and repeated his mechanics and release well. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with some running life and was able to locate it to both sides of the plate. Change up was a solid offering with good arm speed and some deception. Tended to slow his arm on his curveball but flashed some depth and 11/5 shape. Threw strikes and competed well. Right handed hitter, sets up in an open and semi-spread stance, simple lower half mechanics and was on time, showed an accurate barrel with some bat speed to build on, line drive contact to mid field and the pull side, projects well as a hitter. 7.11 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, step by step actions into the ball and tends to stop his momentum into his throws, short arm action, throws up hill.
