LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
Owen Stone is a 2029 OF/C with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Justin, TX who attends Northwest. Lean young athletic build with long limbs and lots of physical projection remaining. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a low and tight hand load, slashing line drive swing with some bat speed and hand strength, middle of the field contact with some jump off the barrel, still developing timing consistency but has the tools to keep improving. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, comes and gets the ball well, smooth athletic fielding actions, carries his momentum into his release, made accurate throws from a 3/4's arm slot, projectable arm strength. Also caught, sets up one knee down, quick step and release out of his crouch, gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate soft throws, tends to work uphill at times, has the athleticism to develop behind the plate with time and effort. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
