Matthew Bias is a 2026 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Liberty University Online Academy. Medium size athletic frame. Ran a 6.86 60-yard dash. Player with two-way potential as a left-handed hitting outfielder with a quick first step and a blend of speed and arm strength that profiles at all three outfield spots. Showed a set of developing fundamentals, clean transfer and was up to 89 from the outfield with average accuracy to bases. Hit from a narrow base with a quick uphill launch and compact swing with bat speed through the zone. Inconsistent ability to get the swing fully in sync to backside rotation. Really projects well with some swing refinement, and has high level developable skills at the plate. On the mound showed a three pitch mix out of a high three-quarter slot. Athletic mover with drop and drive mechanics, fastball sat in the low 80's, curveball showed 1-7 shape with depth, and flashed a change up with significant velo separation off the fastball. Named to Sunshine West Top Prospect List. Very good student.
