Conor O’Brien is a 2026 C/2B/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Brighton, MI who attends Hartland. Slender young build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up with one knee down but is spread out which slows down his exchange and release, low slot thrower with developing arm strength, is around the bag on his throws, received the ball well in the games, will continue to benefit from more strength on defense. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a square stance with a short and early stride into contact, tends to load on his front side and leave his back side/hip behind, hands stay tight during his swing and limits his separation. Good student.
