2013 Top Prospects
- RHP - 2013 - Kirkland, WA
Sean Brennan (2014, RHP, Juanita HS, WA) – Has a long lean projectable build, velocity projects to increase from his current 82-84 range, good idea how to pitch, has good feel for changeup with cutting action.
- RHP - 2013 - Mukilteo, WA
Zander Cluse (2013, RHP, Archbishop Murphy HS, WA) – Has a projectable build, has good hip drive, pitches downhill, fastball up to 86, has good upside.
- 1B - 2013 - Mercer Island, WA
Alex Himstead (2013, 1B, Mercer Island HS, WA) – Showed good gap to gap approach and made consistent hard contact, has a smooth load of the hands and gets extended through the ball well, projects to hit for power.
- RHP - 2013 - Seattle, WA
Joe Jacobson (2013, RHP, Ballard HS, WA) – Has a projectable build, has some added movement in his delivery that makes his 84 MPH fastball deceptive, has big breaking 12/6 curveball.
- 3B - 2013 - Olalla, WA
Jesse Moore (2013, 3B, South Kitsap HS, WA) – Balanced swing with quick hands, drives ball to all fields with good extension.
- SS - 2013 - Bothell, WA
Trevor Morrison (2013, MIF, Archbishop Murphy HS, WA) – The Oregon State commit showed good bat speed and made consistent solid contact, also showed smooth defensive actions during the games with a quick release.
- RHP - 2013 - Everson, WA
Tanner Olson (2013, RHP, Lynden HS, WA) – Has a loose arm action, deceptive fastball up to 83, flashed a sharp slider.
- MIF - 2013 - Mercer Island, WA
Matt Orehek (2013, MIF, Mercer Island HS, WA) – Aggressive swing making good contact, line drive swing plane with good extension out front.
- RHP - 2013 - Puyallup, WA
Kyle Rossman (2013, RHP/1B, Emerald Ridge HS, WA) – Showed well on the mound and at the plate, sat in the 80-83 range topping at 85 pitching downhill, fastball has good tail on it, flashed solid straight change at 73, showed good bat speed and has strength in swing.
2014 Top Prospects
- C - 2014 - Seattle, WA
Scottie Graham (2014, C, O’Dea HS, WA) – Shows good bat speed with a short swing path, ball jumped off bat when centered up.
- C - 2014 - Missoula, MT
Slade Heggen (2014, C, Loyola Sacred Heart HS, MT) – Showed tools at the plate and behind the plate, popped a best 1.97, his bat also plays as the switch hitter showed bat speed from both sides of the plate, he is going to be an interesting prospect as he continues to develop.
- RHP - 2014 - Lake Stevens, WA
Branden Kelliher (2014, RHP/MIF, Lake Stevens HS, WA) – Showed athletic ability on the infield throwing 86 across diamond, though he didn’t pitch this weekend after throwing on Friday in front of Mariner Scouts, he is most impressive there as we have seen him in the upper 80s/low 90s multiple times.
- LHP - 2014 - Sammamish, WA
Drew Lunde (2014, LHP/1B, Skyline HS, WA) – Has an athletic build, online delivery working his fastball up to 83, sitting consistently in the low 80s. Also showed a solid swing with good bat speed and a mid field approach, has some strength in swing.
- RHP - 2014 - Lake Stevens, WA
Taylor Shea (2014, RHP, Lake Stevens HS, WA) – Sat in the 81-83 MPH range and flashed solid feel for a 75 mph change and a solid 12/6 curveball.
- RHP - 2014 - Olympia, WA
Riley Storedahl (2014, RHP, North Thurston HS, WA) – Sat in the 83-86 range topping at 86, good feel for a deceptive changeup at 75, good command.
- OF - 2014 - Olympia, WA
Garrett Terrell (2014, RHP, Turnwater HS, WA) – Has a lean build and ran his fastball up to 83, has good feel for curveball, flashed solid 72 11/5 curveball. He also ran a 6.92 sixty and threw 83 from the OF.
2016 Top Prospects
- 3B - 2016 - Bellingham, WA
Austin Shenton (2016, 3B, Bellingham, WA) – Shows early signs of being a big time prospect, he has a fluid swing and makes consistent contact, shows pop for his age and should continue to develop power as he matures into his body.
