10/15/2016

Amaury Telemaco Jr (2017 RHP, Smiths, AL) sat 88-90mph with his fastball today mixing in his curveball at 74mph. Telemaco Jr. pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a strong upper body and lower half. His fastball gets on hitters quick and he does a good job of mixing in his curveball to keep hitters off balance.

Riggs Poitevent (2017 OF, Alpharetta, GA) doubled in the game for the black team today. Poitevent has a power approach at the plate with lift in his swing.

Harrison Fant (2017 LHP, Marietta, GA) topped out at 80mph this morning mixing in his curveball at 71mph. Fant pounds the strike zone with both his pitches attacking hitters with his fastball and using his curveball as an out pitch.

Kelvin Smith Jr (2018 SS, College Park, GA) had two hits in the game for the Col. Blue team singling and tripling today. Smith Jr. has an aggressive approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and squares the ball up consistently.

Kody Gratkowski (2017 MIF, Fairhope, AL) tripled in the game for the Col. Blue team as well. Gratkowski has a hard level swing with bat speed and moves well down the line.

Derrick Odom (2017 OF, Albany, GA) also tripled for the Col. Blue team this morning. Odom has lots of pop in his bat and is a gap to gap hitter.
