As a third baseman, Shelby has a big, reliable glove that shovels in tough hops with ease. She uses her strong lower half to drive through her throws, and shows excellent footwork and timing on bunt coverage.
Offensively, Breeden is a right-handed hitter who is a strong girl who provides good pop. She drives the ball well to all fields and creates some solid barrel whip.
Overall, Shelby has a ton of tools to work with and a ton of growth ahead of her. She will provide some good power to a lineup at the next level and be a reliable corner infielder. Keep your eye on her as she continues to grow in the coming seasons.
