2022 PG Softball KC Scouting Combine - Fall
Madelyn Ott is a 2026 3B/OF, UT from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny Centennial High School. Madelyn showcased as true utility player who has the potential to step in and play anywhere she is needed of team. She showcased her ability extremely well at our Kansas City Combine this past October. One of the smoothest middle infielders I have seen for her age group, Madelyn did a great job making the routine plays with ease at 3B. She does a great job with her first step to the ball and has a very smooth and quick transfer to first base. Did a great job reading different speeds of the ball and keeping her feet moving through the plays. Offensively, Madelyn is a right handed power hitter with good strong foundation and build in the box. Not only does she do a great job hitting to all sides of the field, she has the potential to be a difference maker on the base path with her speed. Clocked at a 2.96 home to first at our combine, Madelyn moves incredibly well. Overall Madelyn is a strong athlete who has the ability to play at the next level as she continues to work and develop. She has built a solid foundation and I believe the sky is the limit with her potential.
