It was a great weekend of softball in Pearland, Texas last weekend. Fifteen teams converged in the 18U six-game guarantee tournament to compete in front of a solid group of college coaches. The standout team of the weekend was the Strykers Premier 18U who went a perfect 8-0 on the weekend. Below we recap some of the impressive performances in the 18U division.

Naomi Cruz (2027, Santa Fe, TX) of the Strykers Premier 18U is the kind of athlete who doesn’t just show up, she shifts the momentum when she steps on the dirt. With a rare blend of power and precision, she’s hitting at a scorching pace for Strykers Premiere, stacking a .436 average over eight games. She came in clutch on many occasions, driving in five runs for her team and belting two doubles. On defense, she’s the steady heartbeat of the infield, calm hands, sharp instincts, and the kind of trust you build a lineup around. Naomi plays big, plays smart, and brings an energy that makes it clear she’s just getting started.

Allie Minick (2027, Kingwood, TX), who plays for Texas Glory 18U HTX, is a composed and powerful two-way player who makes a major impact on both sides of the ball. In the circle, she’s a calm and collected pitcher who stays steady under pressure and can pull herself and her team out of any situation. Offensively, she continues to shine, posting a 1.333 OPS with a .857 average and following it up with a 1.500 OPS and .583 average across five games. Allie also holds her own at first base and hits confidently, showing her versatility and competitiveness. She’s calm and level-headed, bringing a steady presence that keeps her team grounded in big moments and calm in crucial situations.

Baylee Bonner (2026, Fresno, TX) of the Hustle Premier 18U is a confident, high-impact player who can do it all on the field. A true utility, she brings versatility and poise to every position while backing it up with a strong bat and an elite, powerful arm that stands out on the field. At the plate, Baylee has been on fire, posting a 1.819 OPS with a .633 average over eight games, proving her consistency and ability to come through in any situation. She proved she can drive the ball to all fields and was impressive with her ability to drive extra base hits. She finished with a double, triple, two homeruns, and drove in seven runs for her squad. Beyond her athletic ability, she’s a natural leader, kind, composed, and uplifting to her teammates. Bayle’s presence brings both stability and energy to her team, and her ability to lead by example makes her someone coaches and teammates can always rely on.

Xianne Bettis (2027, Spring, TX) representing Firecrackers HTX Elite, is a force on the field. She is a right- handed power hitter with the confidence and presence of a seasoned leader. She brings an undeniable spark to her team, using her voice and energy to keep everyone locked in and competing at a high level. At first base, Xianne plays with steady composure and instinct, making big plays look effortless while keeping her teammates engaged. Offensively, she’s a difference-maker, posting a 1.882 OPS with an impressive .765 average. Xianne’s combination of power, leadership, and passion for the game makes her a cornerstone player with the ability to change the momentum of any game.

Gaby Sanchez (2027, Pasadena, TX) from Strykers Premier 18U flashed her versatility all weekend, finishing with an impressive .700 at the plate. She was seeing the ball well, driving two doubles and a homerun. She finished with six RBIs and drew four walks. A true utility weapon, she bounces seamlessly from the dirt to the grass, always giving her team exactly what they need. She plays the hop with confidence, reads the ball early, and pairs fast hands with a reliable, on-target arm. A steady playmaker who elevates every inning she’s in.

Crystianna Coleman (2026, Manvel, TX) who plays for Firecrackers HTX Elite 18U, is a tall, powerful athlete who steps into the box with confidence and purpose. She consistently shows the ability to drive the ball and execute her plan at the plate, posting impressive numbers with a 1.821 OPS and .667 average over the weekend. Her poise and presence make her a tough out for any pitcher, and her consistent production highlights her maturity as a hitter. She drove in eight runs for her squad, showing her ability to be clutch in tough situations.  Coleman’s three doubles and two triples showcased her ability for barrel pop as well. Crystianna’s confidence and strong approach at the plate make her a key offensive weapon and a player with exciting potential for continued growth.

Ahmani Hawkins (2027, Humble, TX), who plays for Hustle Premier 18U, is a powerful and disciplined hitter who consistently finds ways to win at-bats. She has a mature approach at the plate, working deep into counts and battling off tough pitches until she gets one, she can drive. Her offensive production speaks for itself, posting a 1.806 OPS and .667 average across eight games. She had a great eye at the plate, drawing seven walks and was the definition of clutch with 12 RBI’s. In the field, Ahmani is a reliable and steady first baseman who plays with confidence and awareness. Her competitive mindset and ability to produce in key moments make her the kind of player who can shift momentum and spark her team when it matters most.

Jacie Roden (2027, Kirbyville, TX) who competes for Mid-County Mojo and Kirbyville High School, is a fun, energetic leader who knows when to lock in and get the job done. A true utility player, she can make an impact anywhere on the field, including in the circle, where her strong arm and competitive drive stand out. Through her recent performances, Jacie has proven her consistency at the plate, posting a 1.492 OPS with a .714 average in one stretch, and following that with a 1.222 OPS and .556 average. Her ability to perform under pressure and contribute on both sides of the ball makes her a valuable leader and difference-maker for any team she’s on. Beyond her skills, Jaice’s fun, goofy personality makes her a joy to be around and helps keep her team loose and connected both on and off the field.

Xaida Bettis (2026, Spring, TX) who plays for Firecrackers HTX, is a dynamic lefty slapper with game- changing speed and versatility. She can beat out a bunt or drive the ball to the outfield, keeping defenses on their heels every time she steps to the plate. Over four games, she’s posted a 1.271 OPS and .571 average, showcasing her ability to get on base and create instant pressure. Xaida’s speed doesn’t stop on offense—she uses it to her advantage in the field, covering ground with ease in the outfield and showing quick, reliable hands when playing shortstop. Her athleticism and competitive edge make her a dangerous player on both sides of the ball.

Elizabeth Posada (2028, Houston, TX) who competes for the Aztecs Premier is a powerful and confident pitcher who commands attention every time she steps on the field. She attacks hitters with intensity, charging off the mound to field her position with precision and athleticism. She led her team in ERA and kept opponents to a .259 batting average. Not only was she steady in the circle, but she also brought strength to the plate, proving she can hit for herself with a 1.396 OPS and .429 average over six games. She was impressive with her offensive output, driving three homeruns and ten RBIs for her team. Elizabeth exudes confidence on both sides of the ball, setting the tone for her team with her focus and competitiveness. Because she is still young, she has tremendous room to grow and develop, and her talent and work ethic make her a player who will undoubtedly be a game-changer in the years to come.

Other notable offensive producers from the weekend

Mallory Richardson (2026, Alvin, TX) of the Strykers Premier 18U was outstanding with a .583 average and an impressive 1.333 OPS. She finished the weekend with two doubles and two RBI’s. She also held it down in the circle finishing with a 2.90 ERA and averaging a strikeout per inning.

Meghan Mehaffey (2027, Angleton, TX) of the TSF Elite 18U W.E.S. led her team in batting average, finishing the weekend batting .500, driving two doubles, and scoring three times.

Raegan Holsinger (2026, Seabrook, TX) of the Strykers Premier 18U held it down all weekend for her team in the circle. In 21.1 innings pitched, she struck out an impressive 27 batters, walking only four. She finished with a 3.00 ERA and was a steady force in the circle all weekend for the undefeated team.

Brooke Cantu (2026, Leander, TX) of the PF Fastpitch 18U A&E Gold finished her strong offensive weekend batting .467 and driving in seven runs. She drove a double and a homerun over the weekend and stole 2 bases.

Lauren Leong (2027, Missouri City, TX) of the Firecrackers HTX Elite 18U had an incredible weekend at the plate. She finished with a .667 batting average and slugging .800. She tallied two doubles, three walks, and scored six times for her squad.

Eliana Karam (2027, Tomball, TX) of the Hustle National 18U had a great weekend at the plate. She finished the tournament batting an impressive.636 driving two doubles and two RBI’s. She drew four walks and scored six times for her team.

Zahria Ceaser (2026, Katy, TX) of the Hustle National 18U had an outstanding weekend. She wrapped up the Champions Cup with a .556 batting average and drove in four runs for her team.
