Midwest Fall National Scout Notes

16U Champions Arsenal Fastpitch 2006 was lead to victory by Makenna Moore (2025, Grain Valley, Mo.). The young righty threw 15 innings, including 29 strikeouts, 16 in a single game, and only gave up three walks. She shows a complete arsenal, highlighted by an explosive swing-and-miss rise ball with late life. She also has a sharp screwball that cuts tight into batters, jamming them. She definitely has a future at the next level.
 
KC Bombers 15U's Ellie Gray (2025, Olathe, Kan.) is a 5-foot-6 righty who presents a solid game within the circle. She went 4-0 in the circle, leading her team to the championship game this weekend. This hurler trusts her defense with a great rise ball that produces small pop-up outs in the field. She shut down 14 batters, only walking four this weekend.
 
Another part of her pitching staff, Alyssa Quick (2026, Kearney, Mo.) has a powerful lower half and natural arm strength with a great feel for her four-plus advanced pitch mix. She has a solid drop ball and a sharp curveball with speed and tight spins, keeping the ball in the infield. She sat down 13 batters, only allowing five hits and walking four.
 
Teammate Morgan Pennington (2026, Kearney, Mo.) supports her pitcher offensively by producing runs. This hitter knocked in three runs and crossed the plate four times. She has a smooth cut, drives her top hand through extension, and sends the ball well to the opposite side of the field.
 
Alongside her, Aaliyah Delgado (2024, Kansas CIty, Mo.) consistently sent the ball deep into the field. She has a solid cut, with a strong bottom half and quick hands. She sprayed the field both deep and shallow, putting numbers all over her stats; seven hits, three singles, two doubles, a triple, and a homer. She sent in nine RBI and crossed the plate herself nine times. A huge future for this slugger.
 
Emma Loftus (2023, Omaha, Neb.) is a 5-foot-7 right-handed pitcher for Lady Cougars 16 - Santoni. She commands the zone, hitting her corners, and fielding her position well. She has creates great spin in her pitch mix, including a late-breaking rise and screw. With this skill, she shut down 16 batters.
 
Kaidence Dumas (2024, Omaha, Neb.) had an equally impressive performance with 15 strikeouts in the circle. This 5-foot-10 righty uses her long legs to get a long stride on her pitch, creating solid speed. She lead her team to an 11-1 run-rule victory over Blue Thunder, with a no-hitter. More impressively, she ended the weekend with eight base hits, six singles, two doubles, and crossed home plate 11 times, leading her team in runs. She’s got a clean cut, producing great contact and pop for power.
 
Phoebe Duplantis (2025, Grain Valley, Mo.), a right-handed pitcher for Louisville Sluggers 16u - Clifton, pitched 19 solid innings, going 2-1 in the circle. She has developed a well-rounded four-plus pitch mix with a stellar off-speed changeup to get batters chasing. She works both high and low in the zone, having a drop to create grounders and a rise that sits the batter down. She struck out 14 batters, surrendering only four walks.
 
Wrigley Clifton (2025, Lake Lotawana, Mo.) is a 5-foot-4 righty who has a massive presence at the plate. She has a quick, explosive swing with an elite pop on the ball. She is patient and times the ball well, sending it back up the middle for two extra-base hits. She had some great numbers this weekend; .529 average. with nine singles, four RBI, and four runs on the board.
 
Alijah Williams (2024, Kansas City, Mo.) is an all-around aggressive player who creates the pace of the game. This catcher for Louisville Sluggers knows how to throw the ball around, picking off any runner who hesitates. At the plate, she has a consistent bat path, fast hands, and a strong, balanced lower body. She jumps on the ball early in the count and makes things happen. She ended the weekend with a .588 average, 10 singles, six runs, five RBI, and two stolen bases.
 
Kaylee Casey (2024, Kansas City, Mo.) is a long, lean, 5-foot-10 infielder with a solid pick-up glove at first base. In the box she is a dynamite hitter who racked up some numbers this weekend including a .533 average, eight hits with four singles, four doubles, four runs, and five RBI. This slugger presents a wider stance, with strength in her bottom half. She has a smooth cut through the zone and strong feel for the barrel, with power to the middle of the field.
 
Sydney Becker (2023, Kansas City, Mo.) is a force at the plate with a promising future at the collegiate level. Becker has a simple cut with explosive hands that drive the ball through full extension. She led the tournament this weekend with three home runs, and with 18 at-bats, had 11 RBI and five runs. She proved to have the ability to keep a calm composure in high-intensity situations when she blistered a walk-off home run to take them into the quarterfinals. Defensively, she is reliable in the hot spot. This third baseman has a fantastic backhand down the  line, with quick reaction, and an arm to make throws across the field.
 
Uncommitted catcher Brooklyn Landers (2025, Urbandale, Iowa) for Iowa Blitz Gold 16U presents a quick cut through the zone with massive pull-side power. She’s got juice in her barrel producing seven base hits, including two doubles and two homers. Landers also is a competitive catcher behind the plate with solid blocking fundamentals and an arm that catches runners trying to steal.
 
Teammate Taylor Puck (2024, Ames, Iowa) has plus pop and a sound lower half, as she consistently gets her barrel to the ball with a slugger’s lift at contact. She smashed two home runs and five base hits, for a total of five crosses over the pay station.
 
Audrey Davis (2025, Lathrop, Mo.) had an amazing game at the plate against Arsenal Fastpitch 2006, rallying in some incredible numbers. She launched two home runs in a single game, going 3-for-3. Equally impressive, Davis went .500 for the weekend with seven hits, three singles, a double, a triple, and eight RBI. It’s clear that this hitter knows how to put the barrel on the ball. Great future for this slugger as she continues to gain experience in the game and physically mature.
 
Abby Sisk (2025, Holden, Mo.) had a standout game in the box, with five base hits, seven RBI, and two bombs over right-center fence. She has a short, compact, and direct path to contact, with plus feel for the barrel. Her highlight this weekend was smashing a grand slam over the fence with ease.
 
Zana Zeleke (2024, West Des Moines, Iowa) is a switch hitter/slapper who knows how to put the ball in play and use her speed to her advantage. This elite top-of-the-lineup hitter understands her swing mechanics and is adept to moving the ball to the opposite side. She racked up nine singles this weekend and crossed the plate five times. Zeleke is a speedy, aggrieve runner that takes advantage of errors on the field and stretches extra bases.
 
Amyah Graybill (2025, Grain Valley, Mo.) tallied up some sparkling numbers this weekend with a .727 average including eight base hits, seven singles, one double, four RBI, and six runs. She has a quiet load and a simple cut that makes consistent contact, spraying the field.

Right-handed pitcher Addison Arbo (2026, Olathe, Kan.) of Building Champion-Aces had a short, quick windup and impressive movement in her pitches that had just the touch to fall into place at the last second. She hit corners accurately and uses her pitches to control the opponent at the plate. Against her strongest opponent over the weekend, she allowed zero runs, hits and walks. Often her rise ball would result in a pop up, her drop ball would end in a swing-and-miss, and her changeup was a tick slower to catch her opponents off guard with a looking strike.
 
Camdyn Sybert (2026, Smithville, Mo.) of Epic Fastpitch showed great potential behind the plate, controlling the game with her framing ability and quick feet. She used constant communication with her team each play, yelling out how many outs there were and where to play the ball. Her athletic build and quick feet helped her to jump into place of the ball, whether it be to block or for a close play at home that needed to result in an out. There is potential at the next level for this catcher.
 
Top-of-the-lineup hitter Samantha Dorsch (2026, Lees Summit, Mo.) hits the gaps and with aggressive baserunning, stretches for extra-base hits. She used her speed in the field to track the ball to snag some fly balls in the outfield.
 
Hannah Winburn (2026, Lees Summit, Mo.) of KC Bombers 14U was a swift-footed left-handed batter that consistently made contact with the ball. When slapping she had the ability to have a soft touch on the ball so she was able to get on base before the infield could even field the ball. In her best game she had four stolen bases. She also made herself known at the mound as a left-handed pitcher with a long windup that whipped the ball across the plate, hitting her spots each time. Bright future for the speedy player.
