Zana Zeleke is a 2024 3B/2B, SS, MIF, OF from West Des Moines, IA who attends Waukee. Zana is an athletic middle infielder who has the ability to play anywhere on the field. She is a very smooth athlete that makes routine plays look effortless. She has a good feel for the pocket and does a great job moving her feet and staying low through the ball. Zana has a very strong arm and understands the different arms slots depending on what type of ground ball she is getting, Overall, very strong defensively who is a very consistent and sound athlete. Offensively, she is a lefty triple threat style hitter. She has the ability to stand in but can also slap and utilize her speed down the line. She is a very quick athlete with a home to first time of 2.90. More of a gap to gap style hitter and does a great job with her footwork and staying on her line when utilizing her slap. Overall a very solid athlete with big upside. Has the ability to play at the next level.
