2023 PG Softball KC Scouting Combine - Fall
Ella Jack is a 2027 C/OF from Overland Park, KS who attends Shawnee Mission South. Offensively she is a right-handed hitter who provides solid pop off the bat and hits through the ball well to extension. Has power to the pull side and with better timing no doubt will be driving balls deep gap to gap. High potential here. On defense she is both an outfielder and catcher. In the outfield she has a good first step and reads balls well. She has the overall foundation here and with continued development and fine tuning, she will be a force in the outfield. Behind the plate she shows confidence and comfort. She attacks the bunts well from the crouch and with improved transitions her throw and pop times will continue to improve. She is a solid athlete with a sound foundation, and we look forward to seeing her dig deeper into her skills.
