2014 RHP/1B Tom Leonardini (Aptos, CA) struck out four in his four innings of work, allowing just one unearned run, sitting 84-86 with his fastball, and showing a couple of solid offspeed offerings in a 70 mph curveball and 78 mph changeup.
2014 RHP/1B Kaden Verdin (Atwater, CA) is well coordinated for a 6-foot-8 high school pitcher, and he showed a lot of promise on the mound, topping out at 83 and doing a good job of staying around the strike zone in his three innings of work.
