Zach Weisz is a 2015 OF/ with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Poway, CA who attends La Jolla Country Day. Weisz has a medium sized frame with a young lean build. He throws with a long arm action from the outfield with some arm strength. He has developing outfield actions with solid footwork to the ball. At the plate, Weisz starts with a slightly open stance with a high back elbow. He uses a rotational swing on a line drive plane. He takes his hands to the ball well and has good swing mechanics. Good hitting approach just needs time to grow and get stronger to handle wood. Good student.
