Nate Bonner (2019 SS, Calhoun, GA) had a good day at the plate going one for two with a double. He showed a short compact stroke with good pop.
Xavier Bussey (2019 OF, Garner, NC) compiled two hits and two stolen bases offensively in the game. He found the barrel well in both plate appearances with a short compact swing. Xavier was very aggressive on the base paths and showed good instincts.
Kas Palzkill (2018 OF, Eau Claire, WI) was short to the ball at the plate displaying a good balanced swing with good pop. He went one for two with a double in the game.
Kyle Petri (2018 LHP, Lighthouse Point, FL) had a solid outing on the bump going four innings and striking out seven of the thirteen batters he faced. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a clean arm action and some quickness. He kept his fastball down in the zone with some life sitting 81-84 MPH with his out pitch being his slider that had tight rotation at 70 MPH.
Vladimir Ceverino (2018 RHP, Brooklyn, NY) showed balanced mechanics on the mound pitching from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. His fastball showed some life topped out at 85 MPH and showed a good change-up with late fade to the arm side at 73 MPH.
