Nicholas Gordon is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Olympia HS. Slender young build, hasn't remotely started to add strength and mature muscle. Extremely fluid defensive actions, top of the line instincts with a very quick first step, 6.69 runner, advanced footwork, outstanding arm strength, made plays at third base and second base that looked like he'd played those positions his whole life, Gold Glove level tools and skills. Left handed hitter, limited shift, quick short swing, consistent hitting mechanics, pull line drive swing, present power is to the gaps when extended, makes consistent hard contact, will continue to improve offensively as he fills out. Best we've seen him on the mound, topped out at 94 mph on his fastball, easy balanced delivery, high 3/4's slot, works downhill, outstanding spin on hard upper 70's downer curveball. Has first round potential on the mound but higher ceiling as a shortstop. Son of former MLB star RHP Tom "Flash" Gordon. Good student, has a verbal commitment to Florida State.

Nicholas Gordon is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Olympia HS. Has a long thin athletic build, very projectable with room to add strength. Has loose athletic actions at shortstop with great hands, plus range, works through ball, makes all plays, plus arm strength, with minimal effort. He is a left handed hitter, hits from an open upright stance with a very quiet approach. Displayed quick hands, good bat speed, hits under control, smooth balanced swing, line drive swing plane, ball jumps, repeats swing mechanics, good contact skills. Also pitched in the Top Prospect Game, long extended arm action, low effort release. Fastball had good running action, and mixed in sharp breaking 11/5 curveball. Good Student.

Lean and wiry athletic build, loose athletic actions. 6.79 runner, plays much faster, plus present range at shortstop, easy flow through the ball, excellent arm strength, gets rid of the ball cleanly, can make all the plays. Left handed hitter, big wrap to start swing, balanced stance, loose extended swing, has bat speed, best contact when pulling, will get long at times. Also pitches, rock back delivery, long extended arm action, fast clean arm action, low effort release. Fastball to 91 mph, maintains well front the stretch, good running action, sharp breaking curveball with 11/5 shape and good depth. Legit 2-way pro prospect. Loves to play and plays hard. Son of former ML RHP Flash Gordon, brother of Dodgers SS Dee Gordon. This might be the best of the Gordon's.

Nicholas Gordon is a 2014 IF/RHP with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Olympia HS. Long thin athletic build, very projectable, looks the part. High level two-way prospect who put on a very impressive performance in Ft. Myers. Consitently hammered line drives off the top of the fence in RF during BP session. Quick wrists, good hand and bat speed, ball jumps, very good contact skills. Up to 89 on mound with long, fast and loose arm action. Hard spin on 12-6 curveball with good depth and bite, threw it for strikes, hitters had no chance of hitting. Athletic delivery, repeats well, long stride, works downhill, fastball has good movement and life, good command, high level pitchability. Good infield actions, light on his feet, moves well, quick release, makes it look easy.
