Georgia’s fast rising high school righthander Spencer Adams isn’t probably aware of how close he came to being named a Perfect Game All-American and spending four days in San Diego at the PG All-American Classic.

There was no doubt the Perfect Game staff saw Adams tremendous potential to take his talent to the next level before the 2014 draft. He was the most discussed player not selected to the game, but the excess of talented arms in the 2014 class and Adams second inning on the mound at the PG National Showcase left him just short.
