Joshua Parker is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Boca Raton, FL who attends Pope John Paul Ii HS. Medium build, has a great deal projection, room to get stronger. Smooth delivery, pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot, displays good arm speed, loose arm action, ball jumps out of his hand nicely, repeats delivery very well. Gets his fastball up to 84 mph, works consistently at 80-83, attacks hitters and keeps the ball down, throws a lot of strikes. Knows how to mix his pitches, works both sides of the plate, good bite on 10-4 curveball. Has a really good idea of how to pitch. Also hits, projects better on the mound, tall stance, fast twitch bat, simple approach, will be better with strength. Excellent student.
