Large, tall, lean, athletic frame with significant projection, has some present strength. Ran a 7.17 60 yard. Solid arm strength, decent actions in the outfield. Right-handed hitter, leg kick trigger, tends to dive at the ball, finds the barrel consistently, sprays line drives to all fields, flashes some pull power, needs to improve against off speed, stays inside the ball well. Also pitches, works from 3/4 arm slot, high effort, rushes his delivery at times, fastball sits 76-78 mph, slow 12-6 curveball for strikes. Very good student.

Wes Putman is a 2014 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Savannah, GA who attends Savannah Christian HS. Lean loose athletic build, room to get stronger. 7.35 runner, moves well to the ball in the outfield, quick transfer, long arm action, projects arm strength with adjustments. Right handed hitter, low hand start, tends to step open on stride and pull off front side, short to ball, contact approach, spray line drive contact, consistent contact, will need to learn to hit through the ball and use his size to drive it. Also pitched, full arm circle, high 3/4's arm close, some effort on release, repeats mechanics. Fastball to 81 mph, curveball has good depth and some tightness. May have a future on the mound. Good student.
